Innovative technologies for dose estimation in radiological and nuclear emergencies

A special issue entitled “Developing Novel Materials and New Techniques of Biological and Physical Retrospective Dosimetry for Affected Individuals in Radiological and Nuclear Emergencies” was recently published in the Radiation and Health section of Frontiers in Public Health.

This Research Topic, including six original research articles and one brief research report, presents new relevant contributions from various experts who provided novel insights and perspectives in the field of retrospective dosimetry. The content of the articles is described in the Editorial, by the Guest Editors Nadica Maltar-Strmečki, Antonella Testa, Emanuela Bortolin, Clarice Patrono and Laura Kenzhina.
