Special issue on RENEB Inter-Laboratory Comparison 2021, Radiation Research
The European Network of retrospective dosimetry RENEB (“Running the European Network in Biological and Physical Retrospective Dosimetry” https://www.reneb.net/) was created in 2016 by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) establishing the activation of the signatory institutions in case of large-scale radiological emergencies.
The activities of RENEB network include periodic Inter-Laboratory Comparisons (ILC) highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of the different biodosimetry and physical retrospective dosimetry methods used for individual reconstruction of the absorbed dose.
In June 2023 a special issue of Radiation Research was published, entirely dedicated to the results of the last RENEB ILC inter-comparison involving 86 teams from 46 different institutions (https://meridian.allenpress.com/radiation-research/issue/199/6).
The teams involved in the BioPhyMeTRE project contributed to the volume with 3 different publications:
